We acknowledge and celebrate our presence on ancestral Anishinaabe and Haudenosaunee land. We respect the longstanding relationships and treaties with the local Indigenous communities:
the Mississaugas of the New Credit First Nation and the Six Nations of the Grand River.
We are working to make truth, reconciliation, and education a part of our organization and events.

ABOUT US
In 1979 two incredible women started what has become the premier FREE event of the Ancaster community. Bette Fraser and Ann Sloat brought the community together for a festival, and 45 years later we’re still doing it. In 2014 we incorporated under Ontario’s Not-for-Profit Corporations Act, and appointed a Board of Directors, corporate officers and an operating committee, all of whom volunteer their time.
